Once you have removed the screws, the motor assembly will drop downwards. Now disconnect the electrical connectors. As your head is directly below the job, any dust, grit etc., is going to end up in your eyes, so be careful. Having got you motor out, check the plastic impeller for any obstructions.
My info shows there are 2 Fuses related to ABS and Traction Control. 1) ABS Hydraulic Unit Fuse is F3 - 50 Amp. This Fuse is one of the "Pre Fuses" and these are in the Pre Fuse Box which is in front of the Battery, black Plastic oblong box similar size to a Cigarette Packet (not in the Module Box at the side of Battery)

Slk won't start. I don't know if this is in the correct forum. Sorry if it isn't, but I need some help. My wifes 98 SLK 230 will not start. Cranks ,but wont fire. I confirmed it has spark, but has no fuel preasure and can't hear the fuel pump running. I am trying to find the fuel pump relay, but the manual is no help.
