Hi Folks, Dying for some help. Driving first truck for the first time. I am using Thrustmaster T300 RS GT with thrusmaster TH8A shifter with Simnu-shift knob. I was able to set everything up so I can use a 10 speed or 13 speed or 18 speed. I am able to shift through the gears but my speed won't get any higher than about 15-25 mph. I have used a truck with 10 speed ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and a
Truck slowing down without using brakes. I used to play using my keyboard, but recently upgraded to a G920 with H-shifter. Unfortunatelly, not all is happening as expected. I tried several trucks and in all of them, the truck (s) stops seconds after I stop accelerating, even without hitting the brakes pedal.
I'm playing ETS2 and everything is fine until out of nowhere (with no setting changes) my truck starts to accelerate by itself. So far to get rid of this problem I've tried: - Unplugging the controller (still accelerates with no controller plugged in) If it matters, I'm using a dualshock 4 controller. Never had this issue in the past.
Jump in - no sound. Turn the engine on - no sound. I hear the start-up sound of the game, clicks in the game, finesbut nothing else. Odd. Take some mods out - try again - still no change. Updated the game to the latest 1.39 without beta - still nothing. Getting frustrated - lost the delivery due to updates etc.
im using stock sounds and im struggling to see what the problem is, im a lorry driver irl and i think what people dont understand is new trucks are so much quieter than back in the day, the only time you hear the engine is on acceleration, when your at top speed sat on the limiter or just coasting you dont hear much of the engine at all just road noise.
You can try going to documents: "euro truck simulator 2" and right click the "profiles" folder within it. Select "properties", then click the "Previous Versions" tab. If you're lucky, it find one that can be restored.

..to holding clutch and gas while changing gears? I know the truck won't accelerate while the clutch is being held down, but is there any negative to letting go of acceleration during this process? Say, I'm on the highway and I decide to change gear, I don't see any negatives to just not letting go of throttle, then holding down the clutch, changing gears, letting go of the clutch all while
LWaaZU.
